A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who made our Second Annual Spring Soirée a success! Against the backdrop of a spectacular Montecito estate, the Summer Solstice Celebration welcomed guests to its annual Spring Soirée, an elegant afternoon and evening of art, music, philanthropy, and community in support of one of Santa Barbara’s most beloved cultural traditions.
The gathering brought together artists, community leaders, business owners, philanthropists, and supporters for a celebration of creativity and connection. Guests enjoyed fine art, local wines, culinary offerings, live performances, and both live and silent auctions benefiting the Summer Solstice Celebration’s year-round programs, including the Community Arts Workshop, Parade, and Festival.
The estate grounds were transformed into a vibrant showcase of Santa Barbara’s creative spirit. Entertainment included breathtaking aerial and fire performances by Electricirque, dance by La Boheme, and the soulful guitar stylings of Quique Hernandez. Guests also had the opportunity to view and bid on an impressive collection of artwork by notable local artists, with curation support from Art & Soul.
Local businesses and community partners helped make the event possible. Uptown Lounge served festive margaritas, while La Lieff, Fess Parker Winery, and Tyler Wines provided exceptional local wine selections. Culinary contributions from Sazon Latino and additional support from Pacific Crest Realty, Edgar Ortiz Farmers Insurance Agency, Reyna Financial, Brewhouse, Art & Soul, and many dedicated volunteers helped create an unforgettable experience.
The evening highlighted the important role that arts organizations play in fostering community connection and creative participation. For more than five decades, the Summer Solstice Celebration has invited people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in hands-on arts experiences through its Community Arts Workshop, culminating each year in the beloved Summer Solstice Parade and Festival, which draws more than 70,000 spectators.
This event reflected everything Solstice is about—community, creativity, generosity, beauty, and collective joy. We are deeply grateful to see so many people come together to celebrate and support the arts.
Following the success of this year’s gathering, the estate hosts graciously invited the organization to return next year, helping establish the Spring Soirée as what many hope will become a cherished annual Montecito tradition
All proceeds will help fund our mission to unite the community through the power of hands-on participation in the arts. We look forward to raising a glass with you as we celebrate the spirit of Summer Solstice and keep it thriving for years to come!
