First Thursday Preview of BIGGEST Little Elephant Parade
Thursday, November 5th, at the Santa Barbara Public Library, downtown branch , Solstice Celebration presented a "preview" launch of The BIGGEST Little Elephant Parade! . The exhibition featured 12 painted mini-elephant sculptures , along with several early entries from local artists that showcased how community members can get involved. The exhibition runs through the end of November and will continue to grow as more artists join the herd . Dana Yarger, US Representative

Solstice is Making Waves
Summer Solstice Celebration announced publicly the theme for the 2026 Solstice Parade at First Thursday at the Downtown Public Library: WAVE. More than a hundred people submitted their ideas at live events and online over the past month and a half. Solstice at PIECE TIME
