Get ready for the Elephant Equinox Theme Party and Workshops, hosted by Legacy Art Santa Barbara at 1230 State Street on September 21-22! Why these dates? September 21 is the Fall Equinox, and September 22 is Elephant Appreciation Day—so it’s the perfect time to introduce you to the Elephant Parade!

About the event
This event marks the beginning of our year-round arts programming furthering our mission to bring fun, artistic experiences to our community. September 22 also happens to be “Elephant Appreciation Day” in the US. Submit your ideas for the 2025 Solstice Parade Theme PLUS enter the Elephant Parade® Art Contest. Youth Playshops 10 am to Noon both days include light refreshments for young artists age 7-17. Adult Playshop with live music, no host bar, from 4 pm to 6 pm both Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22. Bring your fabulousness and your creativity and let’s have another fun gathering at Legacy Art Santa Barbara!
