Start off the Summer Solstice Celebration with a Fine Art Class with Solstice Artist Caroline Hambright! Join us June 1st for our first free Blooming Art Class!

 

Solstice Artist Caroline Hambright, professional artist and teacher, is hosting a series of three fine art classes at the Community Arts Workshop on June 1st, 15th, and 20th.

 

Each class, you will paint flowers in a different way with a different medium: impressionist acrylic , detailed watercolor, and completely abstract mandala printmaking. Materials will be provided!

 

Classes are open to adults and kids, ages 10 and up.  You may sign up for as many classes as you'd like.  After the three classes in June, your work will be displayed at the Community Arts Workshop!

 

Space and materials are FREE but limited, so sign up now!

Celebrating Brian Wilson and His Music

Join the Santa Barbara Music Foundation and Ones to Watch Productions as they present this special benefit concert in support of New Beginnings of Santa Barbara. Featuring Brother Sal and The Devil May Care with Glen Phillips, Garrison Starr, Will Breman, Chris Pierce, Shane Alexander, Leslie Stevens, Todd OKeefe, Max Kasch, The Brambles, and more.

Virtual State Street Parade
Screening at the Arlington Theater

The wonderful, talented and very hard working TV Santa Barbara crew has been very busy filming many of Santa Barbara’s very creative community groups, organizations and individuals. Watch them Bloom in our Virtual State Street Parade!

 

Wear your best Solstice costume and meet the Solstice Virtual Parade participants and team at our free screening of the hour-long Summer Solstice Virtual State Street Parade Film at the Arlington Theater (1317 State St, Santa Barbara) on June 26th from 10:00 - 11:30 AM

Solstice After Bloom Party
Community Arts Workshop

We can’t have a festival this year, but we can still have a little party! Join us for an evening of fun and celebration on June 26th at the Community Arts Workshop (631 Garden St, Santa Barbara). 

 

There will be live music, a no host bar and a background screening of the Virtual State Street Parade and Virtual Community Parade.  This is your chance to meet the artists who make the magic happen! 

 

Masks will be required for this event. Details will be provided soon so be sure to stay updated!
