POSTER ARCHIVE 1982-2006

Since the beginning of the Summer Solstice Celebration in 1974, there has been a flier or a poster announcing the Celebration to the community.

Since the first poster competition in 1984, the Sojourner Cafe has hosted an annual artisitic competition every February where entries all entries are displayed for the Santa Barbara community to vote for their favorite design.

Winning entries are not only developed into posters, but T-shirts and sometimes embroidered bags and hats. The winning artist also enjoys a portion of the sale of these items.
